Dogra College of Education hosts interactive career counseling session for BEd students

JAMMU, Apr 25: A dynamic session on Career Counseling orchestrated by the Placement Cell and Alumni Committee of Dogra College of Education, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), unfolded on April 25th, 2024, within the hallowed halls of the college conference hall. Enthusiastic participation poured in from students of B.Ed. Semesters 4th (2022-24) and 1st (2023-25), setting the stage for an enlightening exchange of insights.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Kr. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director of Rich Harvest School and a revered member of the Dogra College of Education Trust. Mrs. Shivali Mehta, Convener of the Alumni Committee, DCE, extended a warm welcome, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries, symbolizing the illuminating journey ahead.
In his address, Kr. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak elucidated the essential quality parameters of effective career counseling, urging students to align their aspirations with the pursuit of a secure and fulfilling career. He emphasized the transformative potential of higher education in shaping life-changing career prospects, particularly in the realm of education, fostering the students' journey towards becoming exemplary educators.

The guest speaker adeptly navigated through these queries, providing valuable insights and practical advice to the eager participants.
Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of Dogra Educational Trust, extended heartfelt gratitude to the resource person, acknowledging the session's role in fostering a conducive environment for knowledge exchange and experiential learning.
