JAMMU, Apr 25: Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation, a prominent non-governmental organization, At Quilmuqam Bandipora, successfully organized Mission R-SAP (Remove Shyness & Apply Pads). The initiative aimed to provide essential sanitary products to women in need and raise awareness about menstrual hygiene.
During the event, over 2,000 sanitary napkins were distributed among the women present, addressing a significant need for menstrual health products in the community. In addition to the distribution, a seminar on menstruation hygiene was conducted, attended by around 100 women from the local area.
Ayesha Farhana and Urfee were the speakers who provided valuable insights and guidance on menstrual health and hygiene. It emphasized the importance of proper menstrual hygiene practices for overall health and well-being.
On speaking with Aamir Shah, Joint Secretary (National Body) said, "The programme was well-received by the community, with attendees expressing their gratitude for the distribution and the informative seminar. This initiative reflects Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation's commitment to improving women's health and empowerment in the region".
