If Mehbooba can apologize for 'toffee, milk' remark, she should say sorry to us for curtailing advertisements
Early Times suffered Rs 2.5 to Rs 3 crore loss in PDP-BJP tenure
1/15/2019 11:04:25 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 15: President of the Peoples Democratic Party and the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti has been apologizing for the mistakes which she committed when she ruled the state. Mehbooba on the occasion of third death anniversary of her late father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed apologized for her "toffee and milk" remark hoping that it would swing the pendulum in her favour but many people were not impressed by her apology. When Mehbooba Mufri was the Chief Minister she directed the Information department to curtail government advertisements to Early Times as your newspaper refused to act as the mouthpiece of her government. She needs to tender an "unconditional apology" to Early Times for curtailing the government advertisements to us and subjecting us to harassment. Early Times approximately suffered a loss of anything between Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3 crore during Mehbooba's tenure and she needs to say sorry for launching a direct attack on our livelihood and source of income. When Mehbooba was in power she on many occasions got it convey...

1/15/2019 11:03:43 PM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 15: Even as at least 12 persons have died to the deadly swine flu in the recent past in Kashmir, the administration in Jammu seems to be sleeping on the threat in the winter capital region. A senior medico told Early Times that Jammu was "more vulnerable" to the swine flu given the footfall of the visitors from other states as also the rail connectivity. But despite being more vulnerable and having witnessed several deaths due to swine flu in the previous years, the government is allegedly callous towards lives of ...

Mehbooba on offensive, BJP on defensive
12,000 FIRs withdrawn
1/15/2019 11:03:35 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 15: Former CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has unleashed a no-holds-barred campaign to woo the Kashmiri voters and hurt the BJP's poll prospects in Jammu province and Ladakh. The BJP has no say and no support-base whatsoever in Kashmir as its demography is different from that of Jammu and Ladakh. There is no taker for the BJP's oft-repeated claim that it has lakhs and lakhs of members in the Kashmir Valley. The performance of the BJP in the 2014 Assembly elections in Kashmir proved that. One can't say if the campaign unleashed by Mehbooba Mufti would benefit her and her party in Kashmir where the NC is also putting in all efforts to improve its poll prospe...
