Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 16: In a bid to fight corruption much in line with the commitment as made by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in his iconic words that “Na Khawuga Na Khane Dunga”, the government is preparing a list of at least two dozen allegedly corrupt politicians in Kashmir. Sources said in the first phase, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has been assigned the job of getting details of property as owned by the politicians who have been accused of corruption in the last seventy years. Sources said the ACB has put its sleuths on the job and that the list was likely to be ready by the end of this month. Once the report is tabled, the government plans a major action against those found guilty. Sources said most of the names, which figure in the list, are of politicians, who had been affiliated with the regional parties from Kashmir that largely ruled the state for the last seventy odd years. Srinagar, Jan 16: : Five more political leaders have been released from detention in Jammu and Kashmir. The leaders — Salman Sagar (NC), Nizamuddin Bhat (PDP), Showkat Ganai (NC), Altaf Kalloo (NC) and Muktiar Baba (PDP) — were released just a day after Jammu and Kashmir administration restored broadband services in government offices in the state. The leaders were detained on August 5, when the Centre abrogated Article 370 and revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
