Early times report Jammu, Jan 3: Duplicity of BJP leadership has been exposed on the issue of abolishing Sarore Toll Plaza because publically one of party’s senior leaders had announced that after his letter this toll would be abolished but on Wednesday he took this issue with Lieutenant Governor Girish Chander Murmu. On October 12, 2019 the senior BJP leader had claimed to have written a letter to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to scrap toll plaza after facing criticism for the operationalisation of the new toll plaza on the Jammu-Pathankot highway in the Sarore area of Samba district. “It is an ill thought-out decision of the local officials of the NHAI in respect of the establishment of toll plazas in the Jammu region. There is one toll plaza functioning at Ban on Jammu Udhampur route and recently another toll plaza has been established and made functional at Sarore on the Jammu-Kathua route, while another toll plaza on the same route was established at Hiranagar or Rajbagh is being made shortly functional,” senior BJP leader had claimed to write Gadkari.
