Connives with MD JK Cements to inaugurate Samba unit | Kitchloo ignores CM | | Mohammad Mukaram
Srinagar, Oct 25: Ahead of the State Assembly elections and aimed rumors of enforcement of Model Code of Conduct in Jammu and Kashmir anytime the state's lonely owned cement factory JK cement's Managing Director Raskeh Sharma and State's Industries and Commerce Minister Sajad Kitchloo last week inaugurated the Samba unit of JK Cements in winter capital Jammu without informing the Chief Minister, official sources revealed.
According to insiders, the Samba unit was deliberately inaugurated without making it public in order to make some back door entries. "The only purpose of hidden inauguration was to recruit influential persons without any advertisement in the Samba unit," source said.
Top official sources revealed that the unit was still incomplete and the hasty inauguration did not make any sense. "A lot of electrical and mechanical work needs to be done still, " they said.

Srinagar, Oct 25: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah left for London a day before Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the five phased Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Sources said that Omar decided to leave for London as his desperate attempts to get the elections postponed did not pay any dividends. "Omar has gone to London to seek his father (Dr Farooq Abdullah's) advice and to take a break," they said.

SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Jammu & Kashmir is all set to get a new government at the beginning of the next year as the Election Commission of India today announced the schedule for the 2014 assembly elections in the state.
Elections for the 87 member Jammu & Kashmir assembly would be conducted over five phases in November and December. The first phase of elections would be held on November 25 and the final phase of elections would be conducted on December 20. Rajouri, Oct 25: There was a clash at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) here after some hostlers allegedly objected to the celebration of Diwali inside the campus on Thursday last.
The matter was, however, said to have been settled by the hostel warden but on Friday morning, the two groups again came face to face while going to their classes. After a verbal duel, they attacked each other physically.
