Bijay Charak Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: The much touted slogan of BJP, "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas" has failed to awake its own legislators from deep slumber, who have refused to listen pleas of a widow to save her family and cattle from 11 KV live wires, passing two feet above her main gate. Devo Rani (45) widow of Late Sham Lal resident of village Jarh Suchetgarh, has two sons, who are working as labourers in a brick kiln. She has few marlas of land and to supplement her meagre income, she has kept a cow. But one day, her cow had a miraculous escape when a live wire fell on it. "Fortunately the power was off and I kept the wire aside with a dry wooden log", Devo Rani said, adding that during the day time, his sons are usually out and it has become a threat to her life.
