Yr on, CB, Revenue deptt sit on fake PRC cases in Jammu
10/31/2018 10:27:38 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 31: The Crime Branch (CB) and the Revenue department have turned a blind eye to fake Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) cases reported in Jammu district a year ago. According to sources, a non-resident family presently residing in Prem Nagar Jammu, obtained PRCs by producing forged documents and after bribing some Revenue officials. "The family, keeping Jammu Development Authority officials in the dark, also fraudulently regularized two plots", said sources. In this regard, a written complaint was forwarded to the CB by one Mushtaq Ahmed in which was mentioned how the family in question managed to get PRCs. "The CB sought a detailed report from concerned police station. But later the matter was kept under the carpet", said sources. They said that the matter was brought into the notice of Revenue officials. The Assistant Commission, Nazool, Jammu wrote a letter to the government seeking cancelation of the PRC, but after a lapse of one year things remain unchanged. "It is submitted that this office has processed PRC in favour of Alpha, son of Bodh...

Sources said the police are investigating if it could be "some internal link" that informed militants about his travel to home on the fateful day. Imtiyaz was killed before he would reach home. A senior official pleading anonymity said the role of some "internal link couldn't be ruled out." "Imtiyaz traveling to his hometown was a secret which only a few, that too in the police force alone knew about, so one cannot rul...

However, soon after the kingdom ended, the Hindu community witnessed a downfall," Adityanath said recently. "What is the condition now in Kashmir?
