Koushal Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 9: In an attempt to take credit, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu police bypassed a premier intelligence agency that had shared information about possession of illegal weapons by two criminals, with the result the duo fled from the spot with the arms. If sources are to be believed, the top intelligence agency had shared information with the SOG Jammu about possession of illegal weapons by two history sheeters in Simbal area. The SOG laid a trap to arrest the duo. "By dodging the premier intelligence agency knowing well that the agency has already laid a trap for the arrest of said history sheeters, the SOG cops raided the place without taking the agency into confidence. With the result the said history sheeters managed to escape from the spot and SOG failed to recover the illegal weapons," said police sources.
