Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir administration is mulling to lift the internet gag from Jammu region in coming days, underscoring the fact that the region must not to get punished for the sins it never committed. As per the reports coming to the fore, low speed internet, in the first place, is being restored in Jammu district and within a stipulated timeframe, concrete measures are in the offing over restoring the high speed internet in the erstwhile winter capital. Sources said that the broadband services in Jammu are already functional and there has been no report of any misuse of the facility by the masses. Keeping in view the present ground situation, low speed mobile internet will be restored within 15 days and by December 1st week, the facility will become functional in entirety. Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 19: In the eco-sensitive Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir the proposed multipurpose project over river Ujjh in district Kathua would cost the lives of over 2 Lakhs trees as per a rough estimate. The proposed cutting of over 2 Lakh trees is likely to affect the environmental health of the state, which has been witnessing increase in air pollution level as well as water. Kashmir has been facing abrupt power cuts since November 7, when valley received season's first snowfall.
