Agencies gURDASPUR (pb), Nov 20: After his pilgrimage at the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib on Saturday, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu addressed Pakistan Prime Minister, his friend since cricket days, as his “elder brother”. Sidhu, who has been repeatedly credited by PM Khan for the idea of the corridor, reached Kartarpur Sahib three days after the corridor was reopened on Thursday. Sidhu’s speech in Pakistan has drawn the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ire as the latter slammed the cricketer-turned-politician for referring Pakistan PM as his “bada bhai (elder brother in Hindi)”. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 20: The Government today informed that 187 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 24 from Jammu division and 163 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 335203.Also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported from Kashmir Division. Moreover, 158 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 34from Jammu Division and 124 from Kashmir Division. Terrorist killed in Kulgam encounter

Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 20: An unidentified terrorist has been killed in an ongoing encounter in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said. The gunfight erupted in Ashmuji village when a joint team of forces launched a cordon and a search operation following input about terrorist presence. “So far one terrorist has been killed,” a police officer said. “The operation is underway as we believe one more is trapped.” This is third gunfight in Kulgam district in the last three days. Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 20: A thick layer of fog engulfed many parts of Kashmir on Saturday morning as the minimum temperature settled below the freezing point across the Valley, with Srinagar recording the coldest night of the season at minus 1.5 degrees Celsius, officials said.
