EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 27: Making a mockery of the repeated guidelines issued by Union Home Ministry to fight COVID-19, the J&K administration is not taking deadly Coronavirus seriously as authorities are brazenly involved in conducting just ‘cosmetic exercise’. With much publicity, administration had introduced random Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) to control spread of the virus but in reality this exercise is nothing but an attempt to befool the people. Three months back random RAT was started but those involved in these testing are not following positive patients. Except declaring the patient positive, the health department is doing nothing to keep a watch on the same patients. Recently in the Gandhi Nagar area, two family members were tested positive during random RAT testing. During the test the couple was tested positive. Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 27: The Union Territory (UT) is going to create history on Saturday because first time after 1947, District Development Councils (DDCs) elections are going to be held in J&K on November 28. In the eight-phased DDCs elections, the polling for the first phase will be held on Saturday. Polling will be held in all the 20 districts of J&K including 25 DDCs constituencies of Kashmir Valley and 18 of Jammu province. 352 candidates are in the fray for 43 DDCs constituencies for the first phase.
