Jammu, Feb 4: As all the 'shady' cops from Jammu have been transferred to Kathua, the district is gradually attaining the status of 'kala pani'.
Some of them were transferred on the basis of public complaints against them while the others were shifted because a senior police officer 'disliked' them, police sources said.
"The senior officer has also been transferring all his non-favourites, who do not belong to his lobby, to Kathua district.
