Early Times Report Jammu, March 13: Despite provocation by over enthusiastic party workers, former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah maintained a guarded silence after his detention was revoked this afternoon. Soon after his detention under Public Safety Act (PSA) was revoked, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) from Srinagar said that he will prefer to maintain silence till the other leaders are released. By maintaining a silence after revocation of his detention, Dr Abdullah has proved that unlike Omar and Mehbooba, he is a mature politician because he is very much aware that giving any controversial statement at this point of time would be proved counterproductive. Credible sources said that after his release, Dr Abdullah will reach Delhi on Sunday to attend ongoing session of the Parliament on Monday. Coronavirus update: 2 test positive, 159 persons complete surveillance period

Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 13: The Government Friday informed that 159 persons have completed their 28-day surveillance period and, so far, only two cases have been tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel coronavirus (COVID-19), 1743 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been put under surveillance while as 1485 persons are under home quarantine. Persons who are in hospital quarantine stand at 18 and 81 persons are under home surveillance.
