Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 16: Keeping aside reforms initiated by incumbent Secretary Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (RD&PR), by stripping of several officials from the BDOs post, the Director General Rural Development Jammu has sought clearance from administrative department to restore them as BDOs again. According to sources the incumbent Secretary RD&PR removed some officials facing corruption charges from the posts of BDOs in Jammu division, but the DG in a way has sought their 'reinstatement' as BDOs. "All the officials were made incharge BDOs in violation of rules, and some of them were facing corruption charges", a senior officer from the department told Early Times and added that even the administrative department had received instructions from the Governor as well as the concerned Advisor to remove these officials. "The approval sought by the DG is against the very sprit of standing order from the Governor and Advisor", the officer said. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 16: In what could be a worrying sign, the voting share of four major political parties has gone down in the last 15 years in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP had voting share of 18.61 percent in 2009 and 32.4 in 2014 Parliamentary polls, respectively. The BJP won two Parliamentary seats from Jammu and one from Ladakh in 2014 polls.
