Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 13: Despite reservations by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a former Army General has joined the fray for the top most gubernatorial post in Jammu & Kashmir. Sources told Early Times that former chief of army staff Lt Gen (Retired) Dalbir Singh Suhag has joined the race for the post of Governor of Jammu & Kashmir. Former General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Lt Gen (Retired) Syed Ata Hasnain has been a top contender for the top notch gubernatorial in the state. "For a long time Lt Gen (Retired) Hasnain has been in fray for the post of Governor in the state. Of late Lt Gen (Retired) Suhag has joined the race in this regard. It remains to be seen who would emerge the victorious in this respect since there are some other parameters attached to this whole issue," said sources.
