How successive Govts ignored Jammu dev projects
Projects announced with fanfare confined to papers
4/15/2019 11:37:49 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 15: Despite spree of announcements made by successive coalition governments for Jammu city, all have been a big flop before their claimed agenda of development. The coalition Governments in Jammu and Kashmir State since 2002 PDP-Congress), NC-Congress in 2008 and PDP-BJP in 2015 have failed miserably in carrying out the works of development that were initiated from time to time. ''Ironically, the project is still lingering on despite huge amount of funds being released for the project," sources revealed. After formation of BJP-PDP coalition in 2015, the then CM, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed announced that the project is not feasible and hence our government is going to shelve it. But, the then Deputy CM, Dr Nirmal Singh said that project is in the best interests of Jammu and would be completed well in tim...
