4/21/2019 10:58:18 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 21: Official figures reveal that the state still has more than 88 thousand registered jobless youth with Jammu topping the list in unemployment. As pert the government data, out of the 22 districts of Jammu and Kashmir state, Jammu district has the highest number of jobless youth as out of 88 thousand unemployed people, more than 11 thousand are from Jammu district alone. Similarly, when two divisions of Jammu and Kashmir are compared, Jammu division has 45821 jobless people while as the number in Kashmir division is 42219. The details have once again proved how the claims of Jammu's betterment have fallen flat and those who beat the trumpet of representing Jammu's aspirations have miserably failed to make any mark. The documents in possession of the Early Times newspaper have also pricked the balloon of equitable growth and development as against Srinagar's 5985 jobless youth, the number is double in Jammu district- 11072. Pertinently, during 2014 canvassing, the political groups in Jammu promised massive employment in the region if voted...

Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 21: The charge of the people of Jammu province that Kashmir has more representation in the Lok Sabha and that they are under-represented in the country's highest law-making body is just well-founded but also very genuine. Similarly, their demand that the Lok Sabha constituencies be delimited as per the rules laid down by the J&K Representation of People's Act of 1957 and Indian Representation of People's Act so that they got due representation in this law-making body is also justifiable and well-founded. The demand appears all the more justifiable in the sense that those who delimited Lok Sabha constituencies in J&K made unjust, humiliating and invidious di...
