Vigilance probe ordered against CCBL chairman

Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 26: In a significant development, the State Government has asked the Vigilance Organization to conduct an in-depth inquiry into allegations of malfunctioning and mismanagement of public money by Dinesh Gupta during his two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Citizens Cooperative Bank Ltd Jammu. A formal order in this regard has been issued by the Department of Cooperative, J&K Government, with the urgent request for Vigilance inquiry against Dinesh Gupta during his tenures from 2007-2010 and 2012 till date. The Cooperative Department has also forwarded copies of letter No. RCS/B&F/CCB-21/1031 dated 26-2-2016 and letter No RCS/B&F/CCB-III-Insp-06/1088, dated 16-3-2016 along with its enclosures from Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K, Jammu regarding the direction for Vigilance inquiry.
