All action against Jammu, No police case against Kashmiri politicians for defying Highway restrictions 4/7/2019 11:50:20 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 7: Even as it takes no time for the government to book people of Jammu even for "no fault of them", in brazen violation of law the Peoples Democratic Party and the National Conference on Sunday defied the restrictions on the civilian movement on the national highway only to enjoy impunity. The PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday morning posted a tweet that her party would openly defy the government order restricting civilian movement on the highway. "People's Democratic Party to defy Highway restriction order today at 11:30, NH1 near Peaks automobiles starting from DPS Athwajan #AshrafMir's house," Mehbooba posted on the Twitter. With police failing to take any preventive measures, the party leaders including Ashraf Mir and Khurshid Aalam took to streets and openly defied the orders by venturing out on the highway in their vehicles.
