After Jammu and Kashmir's Lt Governor decided to donate 30 percent of his salary for entire one year along with the Parliament Members who have opted for 30 percent pay cut, people are asking questions about the former MLAs and MLCs in Jammu and Kashmir who enjoy more perks, more luxuries, pensions than the MPs but have preferred to keep their fists closed during the present trying situation. Early Times Report jammu, Apr 7: Over 97 percent Anganwadi centers are running from rented accommodations across Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the latest data available with Early Times, there are a total of 28599 Anganwadi centers across J&K UT out of which only 812 are housed in own government buildings, while 27787 are operating from rented accommodations. It accounts to merely 2.8 percent of the total centres, while maximum number of the Anganwadi centers are operating from rented accommodations, for which rent is paid by the government.
