Jammu, May 13: Even as the National Conference has seemingly softened its stand on numerous issues related to NC’s core politics, another Kashmir based political party, the Peoples Conference led by Sajad Lone is allegedly working on a similar plan.
Sources said Sajad Lone, who has been detained at his residence after release from MLA Hostel Sub Jail, is trying hard to get in touch with the Bharatiya Janta Party through his aides close to the right wing party.
Sources said a group of people on behalf of Sajad Lone is trying to revive the relationship between the PC and the BJP for future of politics in Kashmir.
Sources said Sajad Lone has been unnerved by the changing political landscape in Kashmir where his arch rival Omar Abduallah sounds like a changed man, after his release from the prison and has not been aggressive against New Delhi since.
