Early Times Report Jammu, May 20: During his day long visit to J&K on Saturday, Prime Minister Narindra Modi has refreshed wounds of the residents of Leh and Jammu because he did not mention even a single word about long pending political demands of the people of these two regions who have taken up national tricolour. People of Leh were expecting that Prime Minister would speak about their long pending demand of granting Union Territory (UT) status but Narindra Modi preferred to focus only on 'Vikas and Vikas' just to divert peoples' attention towards the demand which is going to empower Ladakh people. During 2014 Parliamentary and assembly elections, BJP had promised to grant UT status to Ladakh. But after attaining power at the Centre and sharing power at J&K, BJP leadership forgot that demand.
