| Srinagar, Jammu secretariats to function simultaneously: Rationalization of posts on cards | | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 21: Government’s decision to make the civil secretariat functional in both capital cities Jammu and Srinagar simultaneously has led to requirement for the rationalization of various posts of gazetted as well as non-gazetted cadre in the civil secretariat.
According to the government decision of 17 June, 2020, regarding the annual Darbar move of offices from Jammu to Srinagar for summer session 2020, a total of 19 government departments have been ordered to primarily function from Srinagar along with heads as well as records, whereas a total of 18 offices have been ordered to function from Jammu.

SRINAGAR, June 21: The death toll due to the Corona Virus in Jammu & Kashmir reached 83 as two more COVID-19 patients died today. In the meantime, 122 fresh cases of Corona Virus were reported following which the number of COVID-19 patients in the union territory reached 5,956.
Reports said that two Corona Virus patients died in Rafiabad-Baramulla and Kulgam districts respectively. Meanwhile, 122 fresh cases of the virus were reported from Jammu & Kashmir today. Leh, June 21: One more person has tested positive for COVID-19 in Ladakh, taking the total in the Union territory to 837 while 17 patients were discharged on Sunday after recovering from the disease, Health department officials said.
One sample from Leh district tested positive for the virus at the COVID-19 laboratory in Chuchot Yokma, they said.
Seventeen patients were discharged from the COVID hospital in Kargil after they were twice tested negative for the infection, the officials added.
