Govt yet to probe illegal appointments in PSUs

Ishtiyaq Ahmad  Early Times Report SRINAGAR, June 24: The Jammu and Kashmir government has so far not ordered a probe into alleged illegal appointments in various state-owned corporations. Sources told Early Times that though the Governor’s administration had taken a strong note of the reports suggesting that over the years scores of persons were appointed illegally in the state-owned corporations, it has so far failed to dig out the truth in this regard. It has been alleged that maximum beneficiaries were political workers who were adjusted in different corporations without considering fallout on the financial health of these corporations.
