Early Times Report Srinagar, July 9: Even as this particular National Conference leader was even not arrested in the wake of the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, he continues to stay away from the party politics drawing flak from the NC leadership. Sources said the NC leaders are up in arms against their colleague, who is also seen as close aide of the party President Omar Abdullah. Sources said for the last over ten months the said leader had been staying away from party meetings and that he didn’t visit the NC headquarter at Nawa-e-Subh. It was reliably learnt that the leadership has raised questions over his prolonged absence from the political scene. “When all the leaders of NC have been released from detention why is he into hibernation when the fact remains that he was even not arrested,” said a senior NC leader on the condition of anonymity.
