Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 22: The recent decision of Governor N N Vohra led State Administrative Council (SAC) to remove Director Technical Education seems to. The former Director Technical Education utilized the powers of the cabinet and extended the term of Joint Director (Procurement) Mohammad Shafi Bhat, Executive Engineer, D D Heer, Assistant Executive Engineers, Riyaz Ahmad Gassi, Hamid Iqbal, Amarjeet Singh, Mushtaq Ahmad Bahadur and some junior engineers. Sources told Early Times that the decision of extending the term of the officials was taken vide government order number 432 of 2018 dated 18-05-2018. Although, the term of these officials ended on April 30, 2018, the former Director allowed them to work beyond the stipulated period. "The term of these officials was extended from May 1, 2018 and the formal order was issued only on May 18.
