Akshay Azad Jammu, July 27: A "blue-eyed" Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), who continues to be in Relief Organization, Jammu, for the past six years, has been holding the charge of five sub-divisions. He is alleged to have grown so "powerful" that a few months back, he had refused to obey his transfer order issued by government. Surprisingly, he has been holding the charge of five sub-divisions for the last more than six years and recently the higher officials in Relief Organization, expressing "gratitude" to the officer, gave him the charge of Executive Engineer (Xen). Sources informed Early Times that AEE Rajesh Sharma has been holding the charge of five sub-divisions across Jammu and Kashmir for the last more than five years. "On September 14, the state government had issued order of transfer of said engineer to the office of Chief Engineer R&B, Jammu, but instead of joining the new assignment, the AEE managed his posting at Relief Organization Jammu, with the help of a Minister and some higher officials in the organisation ", sources alleged. In the last three years, six PSC members have retired and the resulting vacancies have not been filled so far.
