Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 30: A Special Secretary grade KAS officer who has been exposed by Early Times for getting into government service through backdoor means with the active help of former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah is now tipped to be posted as Director Estates. Sources say that his order is almost ready but has not been released yet due the reasons best known to officers in General Administration Department (GAD). Sources have revealed that many officers are not in favour of posting this officer as Director Estates in view of his track record and being exposed in media for getting into service through an illegal way. As reported already, after telling an RTI applicant that file pertaining to the said backdoor appointee had gone missing, the Public Information Officer (PIO) in GAD after being taken to task by his senior officers, provided some part of the information which includes his application (representation) and few other documents dating back to 1997 and 1998.
