Infighting in Congress: Another office bearer raises banner of revolt

Early Times Report Jammu, July 5: The infighting among the rank and file of Congress party has refused to cool down and in a new turn of events another office bearer has raised a banner of revolt against a senior leader of the party, alleging the latter for ignoring some hard core workers and concentrating on his constituency. According to the letter shot by a member of Pradesh Congress Committee to Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee President GA Mir, it has been claimed that the complainant had been affiliated with Congress for the last over 15 years. “Was president in a Government Degree college, while district president of National Student Union of India, General secretary of JKPYC and at present member of JKPYC and worked as Assembly Election Coordinator in state as well as outside the state”, he has written in the letter, adding that he had received appreciation certificates as well as awards from the leadership. Agencies New Delhi, July 5: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has accessed various recommendation letters by separatists for Pakistani visas for students from Jammu and Kashmir whereby their contributions in the stir against the security forces were highlighted, officials have said.
