Top BJP leader under scanner for allegedly pocketing 'party fund' worth crores | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 20: A senior BJP leader, who was minister in the previous PDP-BJP government, has labelled serious allegations of pocketing funds worth crores. This amount was reportedly collected by party former ministers and leaders from through different "means" as "party fund".
Credible sources said after formation of PDP-BJP government in J&K, a senior party leader had directed all party ministers and leaders to start fund collection campaign to collect huge funds for the party for constructing offices at all districts and also for the next Parliamentary and Assembly elections. srinagar, Aug 20: The government is yet to take action on the report submitted by Health department Kashmir in the probe in G.P. fund scam in north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
In February this year, following the expose about generation of fake General Provident Fund numbers in the Health department Bandipora, the government had attached 20 officials including 16 Block Medical Officers (BMOs) who had served in Bandipora from 2007.

Jammu, Aug 20: Over two dozen engineers from PWD, R&B are enjoying deputation in other departments for a decade, with the higher ups appearing unbothered over calling them back.
There are several instances where JEs went on deputations in Rural Development Department (RDD) and have become AEs, AEE and Executive Engineers as well, insiders told Early Times.

An official said that there are lots of complaints about misappropriation of funds in Lakes and Water Ways Development Authority (LAWDA) over the years.
