Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 26: Even as Director School Education has kept in abeyance transfer orders of 600 teachers of Jammu district 'issued' by Chief Education Officer (CEO) but these wholesale transfers have exposed on-going rampant corruption and nepotism in the School Education Department. It was only after hue and cry by many deserving teachers that the order was kept in abeyance but authorities have yet not announced an inquiry to identify the teachers who have been serving only within city limit since after joining the School Education Department. First time in the history of School Education Department, 600 teachers of Jammu district were transferred with one stoke in an order which was issued on late Friday evening. While as large number of females, handicapped and ailing teachers, who do not have any approach, were transferred in the remotest and far-flung areas, influential teachers were transferred from one city school to another as these teachers have influence in the administration.
