PDP move to accommodate one MP as Minister gaining momentum again
8/31/2015 12:29:47 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed's frequent visits to New Delhi are giving ground to the speculations that PDP is once again pushing its case with NDA to accommodate one of its MPs as minister in the Centre. Mufti Syed for the last two days is in Delhi and is expected to arrive in Jammu tomorrow in the state plane. Sources said with PDP and BJP moving on in the alliance and overcoming the turbulent political weathers with ease, the message has gone too well , far and wide that the alliance government will not get distracted by external pulls nor succumb to opposition criticism on various fronts. The alliance government in all likelihood is going to complete full term as a matter of mutual understanding despite both allies having vertical differences on certain matters. Riding high on that wave of understanding, the PDP sources said is once again trying to explore its position in terms of managing a berth for one of its MPs in the NDA government. Chief Minister's visit to New Delhi is being seen as crucial in that direction, sources said thing...

Not a word of praise for BJP in six months
Time to introspect
8/31/2015 12:29:03 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 30: The BJP, which till February 2015 was considered by some as the nation's and Jammu region's mouthpiece, today stands thoroughly discredited and isolated in the region. It would complete six months in office as a junior partner in the PDP-led coalition government on Monday, but during all these months, not a single word of praise was said by anyone in Jammu region for the BJP. Contrarily, the people of Jammu region as one man repeatedly condemned the BJP and charged it with "betraying the mandate" it won in the last crucial assembly elections. The people, cutting across party lines, used all kinds of invectives and epithets against the BJP, accused it of...
