Kishtwar Hospital once again shame humanity, refuse to admit pregnant lady

Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 4: In another shameful act the administration at District Hospital Kishtwar denied the admission to a pregnant woman hailing from Udhampur District of the state. As per the details available with "Early Times", victim Mennu Devi, wife a laborer working in Kishtwar District after developing labor pain was brought to District Hospital Kishtwar late in the evening, but surprisingly the hospital authorities refuse to admit said pregnant lady citing the reason that they don't have the required facility available in the hospital and was later shifted to District Hospital Doda with the help of local NGO Ababeel. The video footage of the incident available shows that the pregnant woman was screaming for them while sitting on the floor at the main entrance gate of emergency ward of the District Hospital Kishtwar while few other women surrounding her were seen consoling her.
