Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 16: In a development that can affect national integration and further alienate the people of Kashmir from the rest of India, a "powerful lobby" in Kashmir is busy trying to conspire against the non-local IAS and IPS officials working in the valley. For the past few months, a section of local politicians and civil society faces have been quite often speaking against the postings of non-local officials in the province. From parties like Awami Itehaad Party headed by MLA Engineer Rashid to the ones like Awami National Conference, many including those in the business community have been lobbying against the non-local officials. Sources said such powers want to intensify their campaign only to convince Governor SP Malik to get Kashmir officials at the helm at key posts.
