Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 20: Dismissing a possible spillover of Taliban militants into Jammu and Kashmir in view of development in Afghanistan, a senior Army officer on Monday said that everyone is safe and there is no need to worry in Kashmir General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Lt General D P Pandey made these comments in response to a question about the development in Afghanistan. Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: The Poonch Administration has suspended four government employees on Monday in alleged embezzlement in construction works in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Official sources said that four officials are placed under suspension in connection with alleged misappropriation and embezzlement in at least five constructions in Halqa Panchayat Gursai Moori in Block Mendhar. COVID-19: J&K reports 128 new cases, one death

Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 20: The Government on Monday informed that 128 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 19 from Jammu division and 109 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 328069. Also, one COVID death has been reported from Jammu Division. Moreover, 159 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 19 from Jammu Division and 140 from Kashmir Division.
