Uncertainty over Ram Madhav’s role in J&K, Ladakh
9/27/2020 11:46:18 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 27: BJP has changed its points-man of the erstwhile state of J&K reportedly due to ‘mishandling’ of Ladakh affairs where party is facing anger of the people. BJP’s outgoing general secretary Ram Madhav, who was handling the erstwhile State of J&K, has reportedly failed to handle the sensitive situation of Ladakh resulting in outburst of protests in the mountainous region. Credible sources said that some groups in Leh had raised demand for a sixth schedule on the very first day after erstwhile J&K was bifurcated into two Union Territories (UT) but those looking affairs of BJP took the things lightly. Instead of taking senior leaders of Leh into confidence, BJP leaders behaved arrogantly which led to formation of United Front comprising all parties. Credible sources said it was all due to the non-serious attitude of the BJP leaders that Congress has managed to play its role in Leh by convincing all groups to boycott forthcoming elections of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh. Four days back Ram Madhav too had visited Leh an...
