Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 6: In brazen violation of norms, a senior official at the SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura here continues to be in chair even after four months of his retirement from the government services. The development has come to fore, when the government has directed its employees including officers, whosoever retire from the services to immediately surrender their I-Cards. But in this case, leave apart surrendering the I-card, the said person has been formally holding the charge in violation of norms. Official documents as accessed by the Early Times reveal that the said person who was working as Administrative Officer at the SKIMS was scheduled to retire on April 30, 2020. Sources said the said official kept attending his office even after the date of retirement. Sources said a senior official had pleaded that this particular person should be allowed to work in the wake of pandemic.
