'Mr Mirwaiz, Jammu, Ladakh are nationalists, not secessionists like you'

Early times Report
JAMMU, Mar 25: The self-styled chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) separatist and fanatic Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has yet again put forth his sinister demand seeking involvement of Kashmiri Muslims in the dialogue process, which has been initiated by the Narendra Modi Government at the behest of countries like United States to appease the aggressor Muslim Pakistan and much against the wishes of the bleeding Indian nation.
India and Pakistan should evolve a mechanism to include the people of Kashmir in the proposed composite dialogue, he said on the Pakistan day before leaving for New Delhi to attend the Pakistan Day function at Pakistan High Commission. He reiterated the demand again in New Delhi after meeting Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit.
"We believe that instead of confrontation, there should be coordination between the two countries to put the entire subcontinent on the path of peace, progress and stability. For that to happen, steps need to be taken for resolving the core issue of Kashmir between the two countries, keeping the wishes and aspirations of the people in mind. The two countries must evolve a mechanism to include the people of Kashmir in the proposed composite dialogue. The participation of Kashmiris in any dialogue on Kashmir is a necessity for these talks to bear fruit," Mirwaiz while expressing his gratitude to Pakistan for "helping people of Kashmir and supporting them at the political, diplomatic and moral levels.
Mirwaiz, in fact, insulted the people of Jammu and Ladakh by seeking to create an impression that the entire population of the State is ethnically Kashmiri and it is involved in the ongoing secessionist movement. The people of Jammu and Ladakh are not Kashmiris. They are ethnically, culturally, historically, religiously and racially different people. They inhabit more than 88 per cent of the State's land area and they are known for their deep commitment to India and the national cause in the State. In fact, they have been consistently fighting an ideological war against the Kashmiri separatists and communalists and making supreme sacrifices to defeat them and the Pakistani evil machinations. It has been going on in these two provinces since October 1947 itself, when the State acceded to India as per the constitutional law on the subject. Besides, they have been struggling to obtain their due share in the State's polity and economy as well as a dispensation that is independent of seditionist Kashmiri leadership.
Not only this, the people of Jammu and Ladakh are not a microscopic minority; they constitute more than 40 per cent of the State's total population. They also belong to martial races, which expanded the boundaries of the Dogra Kingdom and founded Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh State in March 1846, and it was the proud Dogras who also ruled over Kashmir for full 101 years between 1846 and 1947.
But fanatic, opportunist and mercenary Mirwaiz and others of his ilk will not recognize these stark realities and will continue to speak non-sense. Mirwaizs, Geelanis, Maliks, Shahs and so on are no problem for the people of Jammu and Ladakh; they have tackled and defeated them in the past and they have also defeated their moves to create any foothold in these two very strategic regions. Their problem is that it is New Delhi and the Indian political class which have never appreciated their nationalistic credentials. The Indian political class has always pampered and appeased the Kashmiri secessionists and their supporters and the result has been that Jammu and Ladakh have to fend for themselves.
