Class-IV employees become DFOs
It happens only in J&K!

Jammu, June 14: In yet another instance of nepotism, class-IV employees in forest department have become Divisional Forest Officers (DFOs).
Sources told Early Times in Jammu region there are some forest officials who started as class IV employees but have managed to become DFOs.
"Initially, these officials joined department as Mallis, a class-IV employee, soon after the appointment, these officials got continuous miraculous promotions", said a forest officer whishing not to be named.
He further said that after joining as Mallis, under patronage top-bosses these people were recommended for various training to get elevated at top posts in the department. "The top of that time paved way for these blue eyed officials to get trained for various posts on expense state exchequer", the officer said, and added these officials spent most of their time in training.
"Appointed in mid-90's, the officials were sent for forest guards training and again for training of Range Foresters", sources said, adding tthat they were further sent for training of Range Forest Officers. Ridiculing inclined administration of forest department towards these Mallis turns Officers, the sources said that why time and again opportunities were given to selected people. "Who and why sanctioned such a long leave in favour of these employees", they questioned.
Castigating Congress and National Conference, he said both parties which ruled state, had ruined the functioning of administration and encouraged nepotism. "However, each government department has been rusted due to corruption, the forest department has crossed all limits in case giving undue benefits to blue eyed", he added.
Sources further said that unabated malpractice and nepotism in the department have been brought into of state government as well as anti-graft agencies of state, but all vain. "Nexus between boot lickers, politicians and top administration is preventing these agencies to unearth the scams which are taking place with each passing day", they added.
Moreover, those who worked as cook in houses of officers were awarded with post of Range Forest Officers. "Eligibility, in case of promotion in forest department is being compromised with impunity", he added.
They further said that some Mallis who become DFOs, have been retired. "This system was introduced by Kashmir centric leaders, who had head the department, to accommodate their people's, and gave undue and illegal benefits to blue eyed", sources said.
