Mercenaries are to be pushed into J&K for attacking Army units
6/18/2018 10:49:29 PM
Pakistan Army may attempt at helping groups of terrorists in infiltrating into Jammu and Kashmir for the specific purpose of attacking Army installations, one in Poonch and the other in north Kashmir. In fact the basic purpose of Pakistan Army and the Rangers resorting to frequent violations of the ceasefire agreement was to push groups of militants into Jammu and Kashmir for escalating the level of violence. In the past three months the Army and the BSF foiled series of ingress bids in which more than 10 infiltrators were killed. In reality despite talks between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan for implementing the ceasefire, Pakistani forces keep on targeting Indian forces' border outposts and in various sector on the IB civilian houses were targeted forcing several thousand families to flee to safer places. Simply this first instructions to the militants were to escalate the level of violence by attacking security convoys, police stations and other vital installations. This could have motivated the centre to end unilateral ceasefire.
Now the basic instructions to the infiltrators were to attack Army units and installations to create added scare allowing Islamabad an opportunity to urge India to resume bilateral talks for the settlement of the Kashmir issue. And what is amazing is the way all political leaders, including those contesting the ensuing general elections keep on raking up the need for resolving the Kashmir issue as per the UN resolutions which is not acceptable to India. And Pakistani leaders continue to threaten to derail peace in Kashmir unless the UN resolutions were made the basis for the settlement of the Kashmir issue. The Army and the BSF have been directed to upgrade their anti-ingress grid in order to foil the Pakistan game of pushing groups of militants into the Indian state for attacking Army, police and security forces' installations. And troops deployed on the LoC and the BSF, guarding the International Border, from Akhnoor to Kathua, have been told to intensify round the clock patrolling for foiling each and every ingress bid.
After each incident of cross fire, whether on the LoC or on the IB, the India-Pakistan forces hold flag meetings where the two sides make a fresh commitment for honouring the spirit of the ceasefire agreement. And next day this commitment is broken by Pakistan troops or the Rangers which draws furious and strong retaliation by the Indian forces allowing Pakistan to shed crocodile tears over the expected loss of its soldiers and damage to its infrastructure. Reports say that fresh groups of militants, between 35 and 40 have been brought on the launch pads across the LoC and the IB in the Pakistan Occupied territory who could be pushed into Jammu and Kashmir for launching armed attacks on the Army installations, Convoys, units and brigade headquarters. This is a serious bid from Pakistan because Islamabad wants their militants to carry out some spectacular strike which could force New Delhi to resume talks. But New Delhi is not to be cowed down by these threats and whenever troops or the Rangers violate ceasefire agreement Indian forces are instructed to retaliate with full strength so that Pakistan suffers maximum loss to lives of its troops and Rangers besides damage to the vital installations.
