| SRTC employees observe one day token strike | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: JKSRTC employees today observed one day token strike by staging protest march in support of their long pending demands.
They alleged that important issues have been highlighted by workers union with the Managing Director SRTC and also referred minutes which were issued and workers Union were given assurances but nothing concrete was done towards settlement of issues of JKSRTC employees.
They highlighted their demands including fulfilment of commitments made vide Minutes of meeting issued in the m February 2018, release of pending 34% D.A in favour SRTC Employees, regularization of consolidated remaining employees of SRTC prospectively for date they have completed 8 years of service in SRTC, management should take concrete initiatives to protect SRO 157 and come with charity with regard to fright rates f SRTC Trucks supplied to Department, settlement of promotions case of all cadres in light of decision Board of Director response to union demand for amendment in recruitment rules 2013, ensure recovery of Rs 45 Crores of SRTC pending with intending agencies etc. |
