Jammu, Aug 20: J&K High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) today bade farewell to Justice Janak Raj Kotwal on his superannuation.
According to press release, a farewell function was organized by JKHCBA, which was attended by judges of the High Court, Judges of the District Courts, Subordinate Courts, Senior Advocates and members of the Bar Association were present on the occasion.
The function started with the presentation of bouquets to justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal, Justice Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta and Justice Sindhu Sharma.
B.S. Slathia, L. K. Sharma, U.K. Jalali , Sunil Sethi, K.S. Johal, besides, Sachin Gupta Vice President, Prem Sadotra General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma Joint Secy and Chetan Misri Treasurer honored Justice Kotwal by presenting a shawl and memento.
BS Slathia appreciated the tenure and conduct of Justice Kotwal during his service in the judiciary ranging from Munsiff to Judge of the High Court.
