Some employees' leaders executing separatists' agenda in Jammu
2/20/2019 11:12:45 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: Amid tense situation in Jammu after Pulwama attack, some so called employees leaders in Civil Secretariat have been following the footstep of the separatists and instructing Kashmir based employees not to come to Civil Secretariat whereas the Jammu based employees have been showing full presence.
These leaders have been spreading messages among the employees to avoid their presence in the Civil Secretariat to show resentment. "Instead of assuring the employees, they have been discouraging them not to come to office, which is obvious from the negligible presence of the employees in civil secretariat in Jammu."
Pertinently, these so called employees' leaders had started staging protest against the administration after Pulwama attack demanding security in Jammu.
Sources informed that one of the employees' leaders is already involved in huge controversy as he was leading illegal employees union despite ban and it was found that he was inciting the employees against the administration. "Another employees' leader, who has been raising hue and cry has resigned from the Union as he was holding the post which was against the norms and now has become self styled leader of employees' coordination committee," they said.
Jammu based employees said that they have strong reservation against such elements who are creating differences among the regions, they said in unison that for them nation comes first. It has been learnt that these so called employees' leaders tried to meet the Chief Secretary today, but they were denied the meeting.
These leaders have put so much of pressure on the Jammu administration by staging protest and through other means that district administration here has been providing essential commodities to move employees at their government quarters and they are being treated like VIPs, while other people who were reeling under curfew have been left to fend for themselves.
If sources are to be believed, a senior official of Jammu administration paid regular visit at their residence to know about their well being and all their demands were met by the administration at the expense of government. "Whenever employees from Jammu region are caught in such a situation in Kashmir nobody from local administration comes for their rescue," they added.
