| Workshop on Saral Manak Sanskrit concluded by Cental Sanskrit University | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 27: Central Sanskrit University Kot Bhalwal today concluded a workshop on Saral Manak Sanskrit sponsored by Indian Language Committee (Ministry of Education) was organized by the university in the various colleges of Jammu region. the last workshop was organized today at Government Women's College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. On this occasion, Province Organization Minister of Sanskrit Bharati, Rishi Kumar in his keynote said that Sanskrit is the only language which can be called a scientific language as it is written in the same way as it is spoken. Only by giving a simple form to the complexities of Sanskrit language can the ancient Indian culture be made easy to the common people. Special guest Dr. SP Saraswat, Principal of Gandhinagar Women's College, said that Sanskrit is a rich ancient language which is also called the language of the gods. There is a need to spread this language among people through simple methods, only then this language will become popular in India. Also, there is a need for the welfare of the world by removing the complexities of Sanskrit and giving it a simple form.
In his presidential address, Director Incharge of the Central Sanskrit University Ranbir campus, Prof. Satish Kumar Kapoor said that Sanskrit is the basis of the Indian knowledge system which is being promoted in the National Education Policy-2020. Simple standard Sanskrit is very necessary in today's society to determine the future of Sanskrit and India too. This is an important initiative to learn Sanskrit easily. Organizing such workshops is a commendable step to increase people's interest towards Sanskrit language. Workshop coordinator Dr. Rajkumar Mishra said that the objective of this workshop is to present various aspects of Sanskrit in a simple manner and to discuss the methods of learning easily. The workshop was started with Vedic invocation of Saraswati Vandana and welcome song was presented by the college students. All the guests were welcomed by Dr. Vijender Sharma, Head of the Sanskrit Department of Women's College, Gandhinagar. The workshop was conducted in four sessions in which all the participants were given information about the nature and implementation of Saral Manak Sanskrit as well as the practice of changing sentences from Difficult Sanskrit to easy Sanskrit was given by Dr. Khemnarayan Regmi, Dr. Tejanath Paudel. Organising Committee wished and hoped that all the participants benefit from this workshop and bring glory to the college by using the knowledge taught in the coming future. Students were very excited and enthusiastic taking part in the workshop . Certificates were distributed by the guests to all the participants.
Dr. Gopal Verma, Kamal Kishore, Maninder Singh, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Ashish Kumar were present in the workshop. Technical support was provided by Manoj Abrol. The vote of thanks was given by workshop coordinator Dr. Rajkumar Mishra. The stage was coordinated by Dr. Khemnarayan Regmi. |
