Urges LG Sinha, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag to intervene
Early Times Report
Bijbehara, June 27: A poor man in South Kashmir’s Bijbehara area has been running from pillar to post to get his case sanctioned for a house under Prime Minister Awas Yojana.
Imtiyaz Ahmed Lone of Wopzan Bijbehara in Anantnag district while talking to Early Times said, “I have no source of income and am living in a dilapidated house. My family is suffering. I have been running after the block people for the past four years to get my case under PMAY sanctioned. But they seem least bothered. They just tell me today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.”
He said, “I appeal to the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag to send a team to my house to ascertain whether I deserve to be a beneficiary under PMAY or not. My family is living under a miserable condition.
I hope Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will take note of my plight and direct the concerned officials to help me.”
