Indefinite Curfew in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama
FIR registered in Shopian Killing

Srinagar, Sept 12 : Strict curfew was imposed in south Kashmir's Shopian, Pulwama and Kulgam districts following the killing of one person in Shopian.
The previous day. Amid clashes across south kashmir one youth of Kulgam district was injured critically. Authorities imposed indefinite curfew in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama districts of South Kashmir after a youth, Rafiq Ahmad Rather, 28, of Bonasaidpora a driver by profession was killed on Wednesday in firing allegedly by central reserve police force(CRPF) in Gagren shopian while the youth was part of protests against the killing of four persons on September 7 by the CRPF at the same place.
Amid strict curfew people of main town Shopian and Kulgam districts and people living in peripheries of both the districts protested against the killing of Rafiq Ahmad Rather and as per reports received one youth of Kulgam district was critically injured in Redwani-Khudwani area while as dozens of youth at many places in both shopian and Kulgam areas also received minor injuries during clashes with security forces. The details reveal that Muhammad Amir Lone, a teenager, son of Mohammad Altaf Lone resident of Raidwaini of Khuwani area of Kulgam district received in his throat and boy was initially seen bleeding and was shifted to nearby hospital in Bijbehara area where from he was referred to SKIMS in Srinagar in a critical condition.
Violent clashes and stone pelting broke out between security forces and youth at many places in shopian since yesterday after the killing of Rafiq Ahmad Rather and clashes hit the streets today also in Bongam, Gagren, Aliyalpor and baba mohalla areas. People from Bongam,Malik Mohalla,and baba Mohalla informed Early Times that CRPF personals ransacked the window panes and vehicles at many places in these areas.
Pertinently at a time when Jammu and kashmir police and CRPF are Contradicting each other over the September 07 firing incident, people of shopian are adamant on the demands of removing CRPF camp from Gagren area and filing FIR's against the CRPF personal involved in the killing of three civilians which as per the statements of police are not involved in militant activities.
