JAMMU, Sept 12: Why is Rotary club Jammu not taking action against people responsible for exploitation of mentally retarded girls in Inner Wheel Home at Channi Rama Jammu?
It is a fact that director of the Rotary Inner Wheel Home was responsible for the rape of mentally retarded girls but the management of the Home hasn't taken any action against him. The director of the Home is still occupying the post despite being behind bars for past nine days.
The director of the Home, Sudarshan Sharma is occupying the post of director and will be drawing the salary but the management of the Home is mum. Instead of resigning from all posts, the management had adopted deaf and dumb attitude and are enjoying the money.
The honorary secretary of the Home, Rajinder Kapoor had said that the director is working on rolls and is drawing salary for his work.
Few days back, on September 7, the management of Rotary club Jammu Tawi came in front of media people and said that they have no role in the case but there was no word from their side that they will be taking action against the management of the Inner Wheel home, which is associated with them.
This Rotary club has become property of few people who shift their positions from time to time and are earning money which they get from outside including abroad. The Inner wheel home management is also associated with the Rotary Club Jammu Tawi. Those who are at the helm of affairs in this home are relatives of Rotary club members.
The management of inner wheel hasn't taken any moral responsibility of the case and are sitting on it like a snake.
They are much concerned about their personal reputation. Inside sources said, "Rotary club members are busy in pleasing their bosses at International level that they issue is nothing and no higher official is involved in the case. They might be able to stop the team of Chicago, United States to reach Jammu and inspect things themselves."
It is the high time for people of Jammu to stand against the wrong doing of this group and all other groups who are busy in money making and are deceiving people. |
