Jammu, June 8 : J&K united School Teachers Association (USTA) took stock of the mobilization programme for protest demonstration going to be held at press club Jammu on June 10 against State Government in meeting held here today. Speaking on the occasion Hari Singh Provincial president said government has miserably failed to fulfill long pending demands to teaching community raised by association time and again viz release salarly for last more than six months in favour of teachers working under SSA` He said that masters and lecturers suitably who have completed their tenure in fare flung areas, remove pay anomalies in respect of teachers, enact right to education bill in J&K enhance wages of RET teachers from these thousand to ten thousand, DPC in favour of all categories of teachers after six months stop, NPS and restore old pension scheme, fill all vacant posts in education department, provide infrastructure in new primary schools, grant muffasil allowance to teachers, release 10% pending DA, leave encashment at retirements for school teachers by protecting unraveled half pay leave encashment at retirement for school teachers by protecting unveiled half pay leave stop privatizations of education and strengthen public education. |
