NKRSNS urges MoS Dr Jitendra to take up demand of new Railway Station | | | Kathua, June 8 : Nav Kathua Railway Station Nirmaan Samiti (NKRSNS) has urged the newly elected MP and Union Minister of State Dr. Jitindra Singh to take up the long pending genuine demand of the Kathua people for the construction of a Railway Station behind the Ramleela Ground at Boliyan, Kathua on priority. While speaking about the demand, the Samiti Spokesperson Sanjeev Verma, Amrish, Vikas and Bunty urged Rana to keep his focus on the very genuine and long pending demand for which he has also given an assurance before during the election campaign. Samiti's spokes persons told that the railway line would be diverted from Azizpur, near Madopur via Andar areas including Bagtali, Chamba da Bag and to the proposed site for Railway station behind the Ramleela Ground near Boliyan, Kathua onwards up to Jakhbar from where in north it would be linked with Budhi satation after being crossed of National Highway. They told that a pre-feasibility survey has already been done and okayed the survey report which reveals the full viability and possibility of the alternate railway track and a station. Verma told that track length is near about 17 kilometer and the station as per Project behind the Ramleela ground near Boliyan, Kathua has multiple benefits not only for Kathua town but entire district also. So its being a small distance of an alternate railway track has no extra financial burden on the government, it is more profitable economically than expenditure. That's why it is requested to Mr. Rana to take up the matter at the table of union government because it would be a great leap for Kathua development. |
